According to #NFL insider@AlbertBreer, he believes it’s trending toward both Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles being let go after the season with President Kevin Warren getting “his own guys in there” and being “more involved on the football side.” #DaBears

The Vikings usually have a way of delaying those actions.

I forgot Warren was over there...

Not doing a housecleaning would be a bigger surprise.

Hopefully they dont get it right.

I admit that the Denver game really has been like a cold, wet blanket tossed on my excitement for Dobbs and the Vikes.  The offense looked like a team playing with a backup QB, like they are.  Dobbs can make outstanding off script plays, but he doesn't seem to be very accurate dropping back and throwing downfield.  I expect another close game, but I'm rooting for the win tomorrow - Skol!

Yeah some of the luster wore off to be sure. But they still should have won.
This game is a divisional game so anything could happen. I'm glad it's at home and not Soldier field. But it just feels like a trap game for some reason. If the Vikings are real contenders, they take care of business and blow them out at home.
If I were a betting man, and I am, I would expect a close game.

My memory escapes me, please remind me when our last blowout was?

But Poles has football experience. I was told Kwesi would crash and burn compared to Poles.

I'd love to see Rick be THE guy to fix the QB problems in Chicago. B)

Poles has done some questionable things, but he has stockpiled draft picks and made an incredible trade with the Panthers which may turn out to net them one of the best college QBs to come out in some time and could possibly turn their team around.  I am rooting for the Panthers to start winning games and for AZ to keep losing.

The Bears seem to be a bit aimless, I don't blame Warren if he wants to start over with his guys.

It will be interesting this upcoming year and next as there will be some QB FAs or cuts that might interest teams in a trade or just acquiring by signing (Daniel Jones, Justin Fields, etc.).

I think Daniel Jones could salvage his career on a better team. That contract is going to be the problem.

I like Jones with KOC mentoring him. But that contract.....yikes.

Spielman is a football guy. I don't think he fits the young, analytical mold that is trendy for GMs in the NFL these days.

True, but wouldn’t Warren want to pick his genius mind for a possible rebuild plan…!?  ;) B)

If I were Warren, I'd find a hot shot, young Ivy league economics and analytics guru who dabbles in football as GM. And I'd hire Rick as my head of scouting. He deserved to be fired after letting Zimmer go rogue, but he was damn good at drafting.
