That’s cool man. Everyone goes through the stages of grief at different paces. I’'ve reaches acceptance that we’re done for the year. I sse a lot of bargaining and denial right now

Is hyperbole a stage of grief? Because comparing the Vikings offense to the Hawkeyes shit show would clearly plant you in that stage.

I know it's an emotional time but lets not get carried away with the Hawkeyes comparison. That is unless KOC is giving up play calling to Brian Ferentz.
when Jaren Hall has 92 passing yards next week and we run for 35 because there’s 10 in the box, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Glad you got it all figured out. Sounds like you were just waiting for something bad to happen to join us and voice your opinions.

My first reaction about Hall (after watching his few replacement plays and him in pre-season) was oh crap. And then I remembered two things...first was that in pre-season, he not only was running against scrubs, he was playing WITH scrubs...he was not playing with our first string...heck, during pre-season, nobody even knew what Addison was capable of.  And #2 to keep in mind was what KOC said this morning, he has not been running with the first team on our Vikings playbook...he has been running Scout team each week (and doing a fine job with a different playbook each week against our #1 D...said KOC).

I saw something this morning that caused me a bit of pause...I recommend that everyone go and watch his college highlight reels...he definitely has the athletic ability and the wheels to be a dual threat QB. After I watched that reel, I felt a lot better.

Glad it's not my job to make the call...heck, I don't even feel qualified to have an opinion.

I could care less who joins in and gives tbeir opinions. I was just kinda of surprised by the completely negative take on Hall, who hasn't even had a chance to show what he can do, from someone who rarely if ever posted his opinions before.

99% of back-up QBs that play us have a great game. Now it's time to turn the table.

I agree on giving Hall a shot. It a heck of a Hail Mary but it’s worth it at this point.

oh i agree 100%. Ain’t no one coming in, learning this system and personnel, and saving this season.

I’m just saying that Jaren Hall showed nothing against the scrubs he played against in the preseason that should lead anyone to believe he’s going to remotely have any success against first stringers. I’m honestly not a Kwesi hater, but the jury is still out on his player evaluation skills.

Showing nothing? Bro did Hall steal your girl.  He showed very good glimpses while constantly being under pressure in the pre-season.  JT Sullivan, a guy who actually has played QB broke down his game and identified some very good throws and decisions.

Your Hall hate is very strange man, strange

Zero to lose at this point.  He plays bad, you are in position in taking a QB next year in the first. We are all happy.

He plays well, maybe he's the guy and now you have a QB with options to take another, with a QB on a very cheap contract.

It's a no lose situation here with Hall.  We get to see what he is about with a draft position if he sucks

Either way, next year's starting QB will be cheap

Not getting the Hall hate by one poster.  Like others have said, there is absolutely no downside in seeing what he has at this point.

There isn't a veteran QB that can be signed, get to the Vikings facilities, learn the playbook, and get instant chemistry with our team in 3 days.  Mullens is on IR for at least one more week so it's Hall as the likely starter and Mannion elevated to be the backup.

If the Hall hate is coming from a place of wanting to beat the Falcons and keep our playoff dreams alive...  again, Hall gives us the best chance to do that THIS week after Cousins went down.

Seems like everyone is being reasonable about it.  Acknowledging our season is likely done, but maybe there is a chance Hall surprises?  It's a no lose situation.  Any chance of making the playoffs and winning a Super Bowl tanked when Cousins went down.  Now it's just hope and prayers and fans trying to find some excitement from seeing a rookie play.  Might be we're all cranky and hopeless if Hall face plants next week, but who cares if he does?  This season is all about seeing if Hall can be the guy or accepting that we're going to lose a bunch of games and be in line for taking a top rookie QB in the 2024 draft.

Did we, Judd? Or has Kirk always been the same guy and you just recently decided to start giving him some credit?

Kirk played well this year. But he played well last year too. And the year before. And the year before that. He was never the problem.

Mostly agree, but we didn't get Kirko Chainz before KOC. Regardless, Judd sucks.

We did. We just didn't call him that. He was too often disguised by poor OL play and historically bad defenses. But he was there to see for those capable of watching a game critically and objectively, unswayed by narrative. Judd could not. Judd is a moron.

I think KOC drew out some more from Kirk. Agree to disagree.
