With 3 QBs on the roster it seems like an odd move, unless someone is hurt or they feel they need someone else to run the scout team who fits the mold of some of the upcoming QBs..........or unless someone is leaving (let the speculation begin lol)

It seems Nick Mullens has some kind of back issue that might keep him out for awhile.

i don't know, but Davenport took the whole summer off and was out the first 3 weeks.
