Davenport & Akers
Glad to see them both contribute today.
Akers may have some gas left in the tank! Only 5 carries today, but 40 yards and a couple catches too.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Mattison almost 100 yards again.
Mattison & Akers were a very nice 1-2 punch yesterday. Hopefully they can keep it going.
Seems the Vikings have figured out their run game to a degree. A little surprised that Akers got the call over Chandler. I've heard rumors that Chandler has terrible practice habits and that could be why they brought in Akers. He might also struggle in pass pro. Still, I think he's a better runner than either of the above.

Saw where each time Mattison came off the field, Akers was the first one there to pat him on the back for breaking some good runs.
Davenport didn't get a tackle or a sack on either of these plays, but this is what pressure does. Also interesting: Dean Lowry's snap percentage per game 68%, 51%, 47%, 31%. Many of those snaps are going to Jaquelin Roy.

i was ragging Davenport, but he looked good yesterday, i thought he had a pretty significant impact on the game.
Akers surprised me nicely, but he had some nice holes in the run game as did Mattison.
