Vikings get some good news with Bryce Young returning from injury and getting the start. No, I don't think Young is bad. He could easily slice up this Vikings defense. But the Vikings record the past 5 years against marginally talented veteran backups like Andy Dalton is ghastly.

I didn't watch the beginning but saw the last 7 minutes. The last play was intentional grounding. That's what Adam Thielen was talking to the refs about. Which is a loss of down so  possession would go to the Panthers. I don't know if the rules would allow an un-timed down in that situation.
I said that to a friend right after it happened. I dont know why Cousins did not just back pedal and take a knee. We had just two seconds to burn.
Nah, he was outside the tackle box, so it was good.  I assume they thought a kneel down would take too long wouldn't take long enough and be riskier if it took the full 2 seconds

Even a slide at that point would have worked other then the negative yards.  Otherwise, I'm not real sure why he didn't just take a knee.

Best thing about the game is that the Vikings get the win despite Cousins playing his worst game of the season. Like all QBs, Cousins has a couple of games each year where he's not very good at all. This was one of them. And honestly, I think this is the first time the Vikings have actually won one of those.

I'm seeing Kirko start to push more than in the past. He's trying to overcome the turnovers and I'm not just talking his own, but any the team has. I don't see him slinging it, I see him guiding it more, trying to be perfect. That's not optimum Kirko Chainz.

Nope. Patriots have one that no one else does

They definitely played better against the Chargers and Panthers than the Bucs and Eagles, but there is a big difference between the defensive lines of those teams.

Speaking of which, I think it's time to take the run game hit we'd see using Risner over Ingram just to improve the pass pro.
