Unreal. Is this the kind of stuff it takes to get your football team ready, lol? What a bunch of sensitive babies. Ohio State HC bitches about the disrespect from Lou Holtz....Washington State HC whines about what Lee Corso said on ESPN.....Deion Sanders doing the disrespect card weekly, etc. What the hell is happening today with this shit? I very deeply understand that I have aged out of the target demo for collegiate/professional sports as I find this kind of stuff so f-ing ridiculous. I'm scrolling through the sports websites this morning, getting caught up on the game scores and recaps and all I see are quotes from CFB HC bitching and complaining about some kind of 'disrespect' they got from some source. Players holding up signs afterward saying, '(insert team name here) against the World'. Please.

Old man rant done, back to my pudding.

WHAT!?!?  how dare you insinuate that their struggles aren't real?  Your lack of understanding the situation is exactly why these situations exist.

What kind of pudding?

What's so funny and spot-on is that I'm sure in some part of the Twitterverse, I'm racist for that take. And maybe homophobic for some reason.  :p

Tapioca.

I was going to go there,   but we have a few here that wouldn't have seen the sarcasm.  So I kept it benign.

I used to love tapioca pudding,  I would dip Twix into it,  or grandmas chocolate cookies.  Its really quite amazing I dont have diabetes from the way I ate in high school alone.

My kids HC does this nonsense, (among other issues)

Students have left the program, and EIGHT, COUNT ‘em, EIGHT coaches either been fired or quit.....in one year.

Yep. Kids are all flash and the hype. And if they are losing, they'll just quit. Or not try. I'm talking high school. There's like 22 coaches on a H.S. school team to start, they go on a 3 game losing streak and half are gone. The kids that don't play lose their helmets 4 games in. Parents allow this attitude. Raising a generation of garbage humans. Sorry to be so harsh, but I see it constantly.

We had the old coach (great guy) for a season, I coached O line for him. The boys only lost 2 games the whole season - He moved off island, and the new guy came in.
MOST of the kids stayed, and most of the coaches rolled over, and played the next season - continued success....but the guy wont pass.  One dimensional, zero threat to pass (with two very good QBs and two good WR’s, and FB........He doesnt want TEs BTW....

My son lost his friends that would have been seniors with him, he didnt want to play either so I resigned also - Eight coaches left or fired, the QBs, WRs, and good fullback went to other schools.

so far.....1-3.   They were shut out twice.  (They beat the league doormat by ten)

Had a football coach do that for my first 2 years of HS.  All talk, no backup.  It is no wonder we sucked.  Was amazed when they consolidated the programs with another 2 rural schools and we got to play for a great man and great coach.  Won state my junior year.

As to the disrespect, it is a form of pride.  See it lots on social media, people wanting to be victims so they have someone to blame, someone to be angry at.  It is the only way some find motivation.  But it is such a shallow motivation.
