well at least he can handle a stunt.
You can see he plays with more quickness and fire than Ingram. Really curious where the Vikings put him.

@"Greylock" said:I don't think you take Cleveland out. He's part of the reason we're not running the ball well, but he's been solid in pass pro. Either put Risner on the left and Cleveland on the right or leave him at LG and put Risner at RG. Guards are a little less side-dependent than tackles.@"JimmyinSD" said:If they really want to try something different put Risner in at LG and put Brandell in at RG and let it roll. @"MaroonBells" said:Shoring up pass pro will give KC an extra best or two, which will force teams to play longer coverage and that will take them out of their heavy box defenses that are easier to blitz out of, that will fix part of the run game right there. Won't fix the power runs, but will give more creases for non obvious plays.@"Greylock" said:I don't think you take Cleveland out. The bar is not set high, he basically just has to avoid stepping on the QB's feet or knocking the ball out of his hands =)

He could play center! No matter where he plays, it looks like he will upgrade the interior line a bit. He plays until the whistle. He anchors ok. He always looks for work and gets to the secondary well. He doesn't seem to let the interior rusher have a free pass and picks up stunts better than what we have had on the interior for awhile . He's not the best player in the league at his position, but he appears to be the type of player that our team needs. He also is good at hand fighting on the offensive line. I can't see him as a backup on this team. I think he could be a very solid contributor.
hope hes in football shape.
There “being in shape” then theres “football ready” you put him out there before hes physically ready for war, hell be on the PUP after two or three games.
Dalton Risner is quickly going to become a fan-favorite in Minnesota. He was absolute gold today in the #Vikings locker room at TCO. @FOX9 pic.twitter.com/cdR9ox9ehp
