Yea he was one of the guys I was hoping to sneak onto the PS.

I also really like OLB/DE - Whitley hoping we add him?

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Wednesday announced the following 12 players have signed to the team's practice squad:
Receiver Trishton Jackson
Receiver Lucky Jackson
Cornerback Joejuan Williams
Cornerback C.J. Coldon, Jr.
Running back DeWayne McBride
Cornerback Jaylin Williams
Outside linebacker Luiji Vilain
Defensive lineman T.J. Smith

Outside linebacker Benton Whitley
Defensive lineman Sheldon Day
Offensive lineman Alan Ali
Receiver Thayer Thomas
Each of the players participated in Vikings Training Camp and the preseason.
Trishton Jackson, Lucky Jackson, Coldon, McBride, Jaylin Williams, Vilain, Smith, Whitley, Ali and Thomas were waived Tuesday during the creation of Minnesota's Initial 53. The contracts for Joejuan Williams and Day were terminated Tuesday, making the veterans free agents.
Teams are allowed up to 16 spots on their practice squads.

Happy to see they were able to get Trishton Jackson and the villain Luiji on the PS. Out of all of them those were the two who stood out to me. Also somewhat relieved that we're done futzing around with the seemingly never ending Blake Proehl experiment.

I really thought other than Pace, Villain stood out among the best on the defense this preseason. Glad they can hold onto him for now.

This is a very good move IMO.  We basically have 2 rookies playing in the MLB positions of a 3-4.  Nice to bring in a veteran.  I think we will see him get some playing time. 

Also, like the pickup of Gaskin - a good receiving RB who blocks which is a concern for Chandler.  I think we will see him more than Chandler.  

Now for Guard :)
