You need 3 QBs for OTA's and with Purdy out Lance is one of those 3 a long with Darnold.
I just don't see them trading Lance now when they still don't know when Purdy will be ready
if at all this year.
Purdy isn't ready to throw yet, just an OTA/Camp arm.
I'd take Lance for the right compensation in return.
Reminder; we are already down to 5 draft picks in the next draft
I really wonder where Trey Lance will be in 2 years? Purdy's injury really has put him in limbo because the 49ers have to see what happens with him.
He might start against us this October. Purdy won't be ready, and Sam Darnold is, well, Sam Darnold.
