Guessing it was because of KOCs familiarity with him when OBJ was on the Rams. If he still wants a long term deal from some team, don't see us getting involved. But we might be interested if he wants a 1-yr prove it deal. Might be beneficial for both sides.
That said, I'd prefer the Vikings use their cap space to get up and coming talent that's entering their prime.

Its very probable that OBJ/KOC have a personal connection to this day...The Vikings having representation there is probably due to this more than anything.
