No Flores Presser from OConnell or Kwesi?

Probably waiting until after the Super Bowl. Not sure why they would want to do that, but it might have to do with uncertainty surrounding his assistants and the current staff. Just a guess. 

Perhaps I don't pay enough attention but I don't think the hiring of assistants or coordinators is usually something a presser is specifically held for. Usually something discussed at regular pressers/interviews later in the off-season. IE around the combine, draft, otas 

I read somewhere that they’ll do it next week after the SB.

Holy crap some of the reporters really suck at asking questions. Flores has a great sense of humor and handles himself well even through the attempts at gotcha bs.

Brian Flores said his sons wanted him to go to Minnesota throughout this whole process. They're big Justin Jefferson fans, and Flores says there was a lot of Griddying in his house when he accepted the job.

I wish the team would just start pulling press passes for the guys that have to be the jerks all the time.  Its one thing to ask a tough question, its completely different to always be the guy trying to create the story by asking leading questions to elicit something controversial.  or at least go to assigned parking for the press... and put the jack wagons clear over at the hotel in the employee parking. ( and  dont allow them to uber in.)

At least Flores is going to take a look at what we do best and play to our strengths.

If he can get the defense to average, we are in business. We don't need to be elite or top tier to be competitive, it would be awesome but small steps. Gotta get the trenches sorted out. I am looking forward to seeing how things work out and what he comes up with.

The presser checked the boxes for me.  Seemed like they both want to have a D. that is based upon disrupting the other teams plans, not just a system to execute a plan.  Particularly liked the cliche " I am where my feet are" when asked about the lawsuit and plans for being a head coach again.  Like KOC taking responsibility for improvement and basing the success on his ability to learn, damn I would have loved to heard that answer in an interview.  It seemed sincere and not scripted.
