Stage wasn't too big for Purdy...
Still not sure what his ceiling is
He is blessed to be in an exemplary surround (both sides of the ball)
That 49'er D is fabulous, I love everything about their personnel

I give the 9'ers a legit shot going into Philly
Will be a hell of a game

Dak Prescott is a good QB, not great
Dallas has one hella team too

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I don't think the 49ers can beat Philly on the road with Purdy. Won't happen. They're going to bring the heat.

While I too believe Philly will win, and the pressure they put on Purdy will unravel him.It will all depend on how the Niners O line performs against the heat.

Thats the popular take on Twitter today for sure...

Dak has had a hell of a lot better surround than Kirko

I like Dak, but for whatever reason he can't seem to get the Cowboys to the next level. He played poorly vs. the 49ers, and just like Cousins, he struggles to go off script when the pressure is dialed up with an elite pass rush. Losing Pollard seemed to derail their offense. Gruesome injury. Hope he can recover but there is speculation that the tendon tore away from the bone and it could potentially be career ending. Once he was out, the only person Dak seemed to throw to was Lamb and that wasn't enough to get the job done.
If we had a defense like Dallas, what could we have accomplished this year in the Playoffs? Having Dan Quinn as your D Coordinator certainly helps.

I dont think kirks weapons have been inferior to Daks,  the vikes certainly dont the the gurls OL, but I think our WR,RB corp are every bit as good as Dallas has had over the last 3 years.

as far as defense,  I dont think we would have fared any better than dallas even if our D was up to their level,  i just dont think our O was ready for prime time this year.  yes we "beat" buffalo,  yes they finished in the top 10 as an O,  but look at the losses and what our O did against other playoff / playoff contending teams and it just left me under hyped for this teams potential as a contender,  pretty much all season.

all that said,  next season is only 8 months away.

To me it starts with replacing Bradbury. That will fix a ton of issues if we get that decision right. I believe you and I are on the same page with regards to letting GB walk.

Dalvin is no better than Zeke and a step down from Pollard this year.  DC is doing the minnesota two step instead of deciding on the spot and getting there.

It will all depend on how the Niners O line performs against the heat.

Watched Purdy at ISU, he won't unravel as long as his weapons make plays.  He is limited and will lift a lot but can't carry the team.  His skills are that he has a selective memory and his poise under fire.  He had Montgomery, Hall, Kene and some great TEs that stepped up when needed and he took advantage of their efforts more than not.

It's surprising how many have convinced themselves that he's now the franchise QB in San Francisco.

Yah, I still am not sure what his ceiling is? Even with not looking over-whelmed in a divisional playoff game against a good D, I'm still wondering.

I think SF is an great place for a QB to drive the car vs doing some heavy lifting. I luv the personnel they have assembled - envy it.

They got great coaching too.
