Nice so long from _onatell
“First and foremost, I want to thank my wife, Shari, and our family for all of their love and support.
Special thanks to all of the players and coaches for their efforts in winning 13 games and the NFC North title.
I am thankful for the opportunity that Kevin gave me at the Vikings organization. What a wonderful environment the Wilf family has provided for Kevin, Kwesi, and the entire organization to compete for a championship.
Many thanks to the extraordinary fans. It was special to witness first-hand one of the finest fan bases in the NFL.
All the best to the Vikings as they move forward with all the positive momentum from this season. Best of luck”
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Really classy letter, says a lot about who he is. Seems like a really great person who connected with the players and who they liked playing for. He just seems entrenched on running one specific system and would not make any changes when it was not working.
He has to know whats been and being said about him, to put this out there is pretty classy.
Despite the show of polite decorum, I heard the door still hit him in the ass on his way out. :p
This is kind of like those friends who are on opposite ends of the political spectrum as you. You like them, they are nice, but you don’t want their political agenda moving forward and are glad when their candidate gets defeated. But, you still like those friends.

j/k

Reminds me of Leslie Frazier. Nice guy whose system had been decoded and he wouldn't/couldn't change it.
Impressive. With so much bad blood and bickering on the coaching level, it's nice to see a little grace.
Speaking about Frazier--I about did a spit take when I heard an announcer saying he really deserved another HC consideration.

Les seems to be an awesome person who you'd love as a neighbor - but not necessarily your football coach.
