If taken at face value...what a dip shit.  If he means he will use it as motivation and make the veteran work super hard to win the starting job...well I will have to see it to believe it.

Exactly. Its absolutely fine to feel this way, but keep your yapper shut. You haven't done a thing to show you can make anyone's life hell except for your head coach and teammates.

I don't think he meant what everyone thinks he meant, but still, a super awkward statement from someone trying to rehabilitate his leadership/communication skills.

Wouldn't doubt at all that the media took it a bit out of context, still......just keep your yapper shut and prove it. He's got zero credibility currently.
