Kudos to Duke Shelley
Duke Shelley got his first career interception and no one was more excited than his big bro Patrick Peterson. Cool moment. pic.twitter.com/onReJbfXpI

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
The cynic in me wants to point out that:(1) he was burnt on the play and a good throw results in a TD; and (2) the pick cost us 30+ yards as it was 4th down.
Duke is the man. And he's going to get a contract to stay a Viking.
But......his INT was because of a really poorly thrown football. His man had zoomed right past him and with a better throw would have been a long TD. And he cost the team big yardage on that 4th down as PB said above, lol. But YOLO!!
Duke Shelley finishes the regular season with the third-best coverage grade among all CBs, behind only Sauce Gardner and Patrick Surtain.

Shelley did not allow a touchdown all season and recorded 10 pass breakups — 4th-most in the NFL — despite starting just five games.
Shelley's 3rd-best coverage grade narrowly edges out Patrick Peterson, who finishes the regular season with the 4th-best coverage grade, with five interceptions (tied for 2nd-most in the NFL) & nine pass breakups.

Both CBs finish the regular season with a top-ten overall grade.
Not bad for two cornerbacks thrown away by two other teams. :)
With an 81.5 grade from @PFF, Duke Shelley finished the 2022 season as the NFL's 7th-best cornerback. Good lord.

While I agree, I will say that there are a lot of INTs that were the result of a poorly thrown ball, or the player being in the right place at the right time.
Luck, or good fortune plays into a lot of players doing something well on the field. Do you think every Patrick Peterson or Paul Krause INT was a spectacular play by them? PP’s INT was a bad ball, thrown right to him.
