O'Neill and Schlottman to IR, roster moves
A day after coach Kevin O'Connell foreshadowed some roster moves, the Vikings have:

- Placed RT Brian O'Neill (calf) and G/C Austin Schlottman (ankle) on IR.
- Signed free agent C Greg Mancz to the 53-man roster
- Signed T Bobby Evans to the practice squad

O'Connell said that he doesn't have a timetable yet on Brian O'Neill's recovery but is hopefully he will be ready to start the 2023 season.

Also, OL Blake Brandel (knee), who is on the IR, has a good chance to return in the coming weeks.

Question for the in-house doctors. Is it a worse injury to rehab from when you only have a partial tear, or a full one? I ask because IIRC in some instances a full tear of a ligament is easier to repair/rehab than a partial one.
