Post game thoughts
- Kirk Cousins is as tough as nails. F$%^ing nails. And never misses a play. You can't question this guy's toughness
- Asamoah is a Tasmanian devil. He's a ball of knives. He's getting more and more playing time. Once he does less YOLO stuff, he'll be a starter.
- What a beautiful kick by Joseph. Perfection.
- The Hockenson trade just keeps getting better like a fine wine.
- Undefeated in one score games, lmao. It's unreal.
- The ability to get plays made on both sides of the ball in crucial situations is limitless with this team. The well never runs dry. I've never seen anything like it.
- The defense is awful. Truly horrible. There is zero doubt it'll be the reason Minnesota loses in the playoffs.

We're going to need Mattison to step-up the next 2, cold road games too.
I think KJO is ready. I'm just not sure Adam is done. There are going to be two players who test KAM's ability as GM. Thielen and Harry. Both are nearing the ends of their careers. Both are looking at declining contracts fairly soon. Both deserve to be treated with respect and a chance to finish their careers in Minnesota. But that's a tough tightrope to walk. It helps that the culture is so good.
I really think Kendricks fits in this group too.

— Eric Thompson (@eric_j_thompson) December 25, 2022
1. Hunter 91.4
2. Asamoah 91.3
3. Shelley 74.9
4. Tomlinson 70.6
5. H. Smith 70.4
Bottom 3
3. Tonga 56.3
2. Sullivan 48.2
1. Phillips 39.1
So this is why I sometimes don't understand PFF... Someone shared this with me:

Tonga! Tonga! Tonga!

Not sure what this means. Guessing "PFF can't be accurate because no way Tonga should be graded ahead of Davis"? Is that pretty much it? If so, Google Jordan Davis and "afterthought." Davis hasn't been awesome.

I think Jalen Nailor is going to get more involved next year. Its the nature of the salary cap era. Osborn is on the last year of his rookie contract next year, JJ is going to break the bank and Thielen will be 33 years old next year. I expect Minnesota to draft a WR somewhere in the first 3 rounds of the Draft. Thielen is going to be phased out.

No, it had nothing to do with Davis. Just that PFF graded him 3rd worst on defense this week and if I recall correctly, he had a batted ball and some nice pressures in this game. I guess I'm not watching him every single play, but based on his increased play time the past couple weeks and being in on pressure downs... I'm guessing the coaches like what he's been doing.
What I posted was his grade overall the past two years and ranking from guys drafted in 2021 or 2022. Just showed he's been playing well in his snaps. Maybe it's more of an issue with how they present the grades as top 5/bottom 3. Is it to make people think the dude sucked cuz he was in the bottom 3 on our defense this week?
Some OL porn....CD style. He plays left tackle like it's a barroom fight.
Every week, I'm amazed at the violent dominance Christian Darrisaw puts on film. It's a shame four missed games will probably cost him an All-Pro nod. He's absolutely been at that level when healthy. pic.twitter.com/B90ibZfyxN

That first one made me laugh.

I think it was said by quite a few at the time, but it bears repeating. The TJ trade may be what puts this team over the top. It is certainly why Theilen has been less noticed in the red zone.
