#Vikings Week 10 offense top 5 PFF grades (min. 15 snaps):
— Eric Thompson (@eric_j_thompson) November 14, 2022
1. Jefferson 91.1
2. Cleveland 90.2
3. O'Neill 78.6
4. Darrisaw 76.4
5. Bradbury 72.6
Bottom 3
3. Ingram 55.6
2. Cousins 50.1
1. Mundt 44.1
On Offense, you've got JJ followed by FOUR O-Linemen. Sweet.
Surprised Harry and Kendricks are so low, especially Kendricks. He led the team in tackles and obviously had the game saving fumble recovery.
Who is Paterson? Am I missing something?

I'm guessing Patrick Peterson
I'm surprised they have the OL rated so high. I get that the Bills defense was no easy matchup, but they were getting blown up all day, especially with interior pressure and I don't think it was just Ingram who was struggling. Though Ingram tripping Cousins twice is a special level of terrible. Also, on the goal line run that gut stuffed for a 4 or 5 yard loss in OT, the Bills had 12-men on the field that they were not flagged for.

I'm guessing Patrick PetersonOr Harrison Phillips? All I know, is if they cannot even get the last name right.....why are we putting any stock into these numbers?

Despite the great awareness by Kendricks to jump on that loose ball, he had another very poor game. He is just not a fit in this defense. Not his fault, but he is very noticeable on the field for what he isn't doing. He did lead the team in tackles, but that was after sizeable gains by the Bills had already been had. I want to see him in the box bringing the heat but Donatell has him playing soft zone coverage where he is getting exposed. He's slow, he's missing tackles, he's being asked to cover receivers he can't keep up with, struggles with recognition, etc. He just looks lost most of the time trying to operate in space and isn't being put into position to make impactful plays. Despite the promising preseason, Asamoah did not see the field yesterday except for Special Teams. His speed would have really come in handy yesterday, especially helping spy on Allen's runs. No excuse for Donatell not to put him in for situational packages where his style of play is clearly suited for his schemes.

Well they say they watch ever play...Still not a fan of PFF. They hire a bunch of people with no idea what is going on to watch every person on every play. Can you imagine how much zoning out happens there?

It's not perfect. No evaluation of anything is ever perfect. It's like a movie review. If a handful of critics hate a movie, doesn't really mean much. But if 9 out of 10 think it's crap, it's probably crap.So I think PFF should be taken with a grain of salt, but in the aggregate, over hundreds of snaps, I think it provides a fairly accurate picture. I mean, it's not like their grades betray our lying eyes. Yes, Darrisaw is playing great and his grades reflect that. Same with Bradbury. Not so much Ingram.
I think a great example is Cleveland. He probably didn't deserve the ZERO pass blocking grade last week, but he wasn't very good and you could see it. Well someone lit a fire under him because his grade this week was 2nd only to JJ. And you can see it on film.
Oh and btw, Harrison Phillips had a helluva game.
You will never find a grading or ranking system that is 100%
perfect, without dispute, or anything.
It’s impossible. Even if a
perfect grading system existed, us numbskulls would say it was garbage if it
disagreed with our preconceived notions and we would find some other actual garbage
information to support what we already believe.
It’s just the nature of humanity.

Yes, it is a good start for grading. I just can't stand it being used as facts. And I think the fire was probably lit more by the coaches and his peers watching film rather than some egghead putting a number on his poor play. The coaches give out grades, and they know what their job was and where they were supposed to be.

I’d just like to know how much watching theyre doing if they cannot even notice the last name plastered on every players jersey.
I don't pay much attention to these scores and I think some of these bottom scores of guys like Kendricks, Smith and Cousins, show how bogus they are.

I mean if you're eliminating from the conversation anyone that's ever had a typo, it's probably a lonely place. Also you forgot the apostrophe on "they're" ;)

Well, technically, it should be "who's," not "that's." So "anyone who's ever had a typo..." B)
