Lol...

I'm sure this has been going on for decades. At least they are all on a first name basis with each other!

They are people with kids and grand kids who probably get excited they are doing games with their favorite players, don't see the issue with some guy getting an autograph for his grandkid.  There are bigger issues to focus on in the league.

Umm, they can change the balance of a game.  You want it swinging on an autograph for their kids?

Not like I will defend the NFL anywhere, but there is a reason for the rule.

Don't think this proof of some nefarious conspiracy to manipulate games or betting odds.  The rule is a CBA thing so most likely has to do with teams not wanting players to be hassled once they have left the stage after a game.  The Bucs lost, were there any pivotal calls made by the line judges, didn't see the game?  Sure there are rules for vendors and maintenance staff in the hallways after the game.

This seems like a complete overreaction, it looks like two guys who are grandfathers looking for a simple autograph, it is not like they have helmets and jerseys they are trying to get signed.  Do you really think they are going to change a call so they can get an autograph on a piece of paper?

I didn't say this was evidence these two were influencing the game.  The Bucs lost.  But still, the rule is there because it could be a temptation or at least look like an impropriety.

Did anyone happen to catch the OK State/Texas game Saturday?  OSU came back at home from double digits down to win 41-34.  With a couple of minutes left they put up the stat for penalties:

Texas 11
OK St   0

It was funny to hear the announcers gloss over this blatant home cooking by fawning over how great a coach Mike Gundy is to have his team so disciplined.  Like they really didn't commit an infraction the whole game?  Please.
