Kirk - 36 million  (dead cap hit 49 million)
Aaron -32 million (dead cap hit 100 million goes down to 25 million in 2024)

Both teams have to stick with their QB's next season unless they can unload in a trade but those Cap hits are prohibitive for interested teams as well.  If we move on from Kirk after 2023 we have Cap hits of 13 and 6 the following 2 years.  

I am hoping we dig real deep into the first round QB's this upcoming year even if Kirk brings us a SB victory.  Their looks to be a handful of guys that could go 1st round.  

Rodgers, Brady, Wilson, and Ryan, are all looking old all of a sudden. So what happened? 
There are signs of diminished play due to age in each of them. But mostly it appears to be a lack of good players on their respective offenses. In particular their offensive lines. It doesn't matter how many MVP's or Lombardi's you've won if you don't have protection.
It's a testament to Kirk Cousins to have played so well with the marginal offensive lines and pressure he has faced in the past. This year the offensive line has improved, but he still has faced more pressure than you like to see. The hope is, the line will continue to improve throughout the season and the Vikings fortunes will follow.

There is a changing of the guard as the old QB's are beginning to fade away. Wilson is a bit younger but certainly shows signs of being washed up.

If I were GB? I'd be calling Denver on what it would take to acquire Jeudy...

and Denver should be in a sell mode,  but they are stuck with mr unlimited and selling off his weapons is only going to make that trade look even worse to a fan base that has to watch that shit team for the next few years.

Denver is not in sell mode. Yet. I think everyone is overreacting to what has been, admittedly, very bad offense to start the season. But it's funny how things change. If not later this year, then probably next.

I know a lot of people don't like Wilson, but there's a reason he's a 9X Pro Bowler and Super Bowl winner. The Broncos are not going to start selling off his weapons a handful of games into his first season. 

You are right and wrong.

I think you are right in that they aren't going to start selling off weapons since the ink on his huge contract is barely dry.  But I think Wilson is washed up.  Mentally he never was the Tom Brady type, to put everything else aside to win one more year.  He has already become the star and his name means more than winning games IMO.

I guess we'll have to wait and see, won't we.

Personally, I think it's hard for a veteran QB who has spent 10 years in the same system to go to a new system, with a new head coach, who has unquestionably made some ridiculously bad calls....and just be the same top-level QB he's always been. 

I could be wrong about this, and if I am, feel free to repost this, but I think we'll see a better Wilson later this year. And a much better Wilson next year.

what am i missing here that aaron has a 100 million dead cap hit in 23,  is paid only 32 million,  and the dead cap for 24 drops to 25 million?

I would think the dead cap money would drop the by the amount of cap hit he is "paid" out of the 22 season cap which is 32 million so wouldnt his 23 hit by about 68 million still?

But overall I do agree with the sentiment...

The era of Mahomes & Josh Allen is here and shining bright for the rest of the league to feel envious about.

Matt Ryan is probably washed but the bigger story to me is why the Colts keep trading for these guys. First Rivers, then Wentz, now Ryan. I know drafting a young QB is a risk but at least it's cheap. These guys they've brought in are bad AND pricey. Seems like they've finally learned their lesson and are making the switch to Ehlinger, which is likely a tanking move.
Regarding Brady-- seems like his heart isn't in it right now. I'm not sure if he'll get it back or not. He threw a lotta balls in the dirt last week. Father Time might've finally come knocking.
Rodgers- I do think he'll figure it out. I thought he was washed 4 years ago and he's won 2 MVPs since then. His supporting cast right now outside of Aaron Jones is just really bad.
Wilson- similar to Rodgers. He went from having Metcalf and Lockett to having Sutton and Jeudy. That's a downgrade already and plus they are not familiar with him like the Seahawks guys were. Wilson's mobility is down but he's the youngest of this lot and the one I'm most confident in to right the ship. When that will be, who knows. He's hurt now so it could be next year. With Javonte Williams hurt as well this might just be a lost season for Denver.
