I would love a quality corner to add to the mix, but I don't know who he takes over for. Peterson? Dantzler? When does Booth get into the mix?
I think the corners would play better if we had a DL who generated pressure from the inside. A disrupter from the middle (or 3-4 DE) spot would free up the edge rushers and slow down QBs from escaping. Either guy from Carolina (Burns or Brown) would be a great get in my mind.
IF we traded for Burns, could that slide Danielle down to RE where he could be more effective? He seems to be out of place and his production is suffering because of it.

He is the highest rated rookie interior DL with Tackles and Pressures. I would love sacks, but his pressure rate is very good through his first 6 games and he disrupts the pocket with his up the middle pressure. We are not getting any push up the middle with what we currently have. Qwesi made a huge blunder trading out of 12. Even before Cine's injury, he was struggling to grasp the defense, and couldn't beat out Bynum who is average at best. To me Cine is also a Box Strong Safety and doesn't fit the Soft Shell deep cover 2 defensive scheme Donatell runs. Now I'm afraid we will never see him reach his potential in a Viking uniform with his injury. Hope I'm wrong and wish him all the best but even if he comes back 100% I'm not sure his skills translate to what we are doing.
