I'm not a fan of short recovery weeks in a high contact sport like football anyways and I think it effects the product on the field a majority of the time...but this Thursday night streaming service through Amazon is total crap. It's pixilated every week and spotty. I'm guessing because it's a live event, but does anybody else have this problem with the streaming? Just curious

Too young for to be washed. .
Since Russell Wilson came into the league, no QB has been sacked more than him. That'll catch up to a guy....and I think it has with ol' Russ.

He wasn't the prototypical running QB,  but his game has always been of a tarkenton variety where he runs around to create the pass,  his legs are going and despite having arm talent it relied on the other part to make his game work.

This and he has just turned into a weird fuckin dude, makes me wonder if he's read to many of his press clippings or if he's gotten in some other shit that is screwing with his head.

I think that last part is why the Seahawks were willing to trade him.  He has become a celebrity that occasionally plays QB.  Glad Denver gave up lots of picks and paid him lots of money for the celebrity appearances.

He hasn't been the QB to be feared for a few years now in my opinion.  He has lost a half a step and was only about 3/4 of a step quicker to begin with, and the defenders are getting more athletic and defenses are getting better at keeping the mobile QBs contained..... most of them anyway.

There has been a lot of shitty football in the NFL the First 4 weeks. The lack of quality makes it hard to watch unless its a team you follow.

there seems to be something distracting Russ from football, but I can’t quite put my finger on it…  ;) :p

@"pattersaur" said: Like others in the thread have said: it’s early, he’s only 33, etc but sheesh. Russ looks real washed to my eyes. I’ve lost 4 bets this season across the league and half have been on Denver. They STINK.

The vaunted AFC West is looking like the softest division in football, outside of KC. The game last night was a disaster. Indy was practically on it’s hands and knees begging Denver to win the game and DEN didn’t do it. Wild. I kind of feel bad for the fans who were in attendance.

EDIT- My Amazon stream was mint. I am kind of a tech dork when it comes to that stuff so I play close attention, the bitrates and everything were better than most of my youtubetv streams for other games. Sorry to hear OP had issues, that’s always a drag.

Just because Brady and Rodgers have defied father time doesn't mean all QBs will.  Especially the ones that rely on athletics versus being a passer.

Many QBs have hit the wall in their mid 30s.

This is hilarious. RGIII needs to keep his yapper shut when it comes to other QBs. Shady just gave it to him straight, lol.

Future General Manager's HOF member George Paton (that's what they all told me anyway) is looking for rags to wipe the shit he's been stepping in off of his shoes.  Hires Paul "I'll bring Aaron with me" Hackett, pivots to Ru$$, and creates a tire fire in the process.

I think it's just a rough stretch for Wilson that will get better but Hackett... don't think he has a long term NFL HC future.

Good luck with the cleanup, George!  :o
