Brady
Its now being reported that Brady is heading for a divorce, assuming this is about his decision to unretire, damn I understand a love for the game and all... but thats his family and a really charmed life away from the game. sure this could be completely unrelated or have been brewing for some time... but for him to throw his family away for football, or her to throw her family away over another year or so... I guess I live in a different reality than that.

Bummer for him if true. He won't want for money or company but it's sad for anyone to go through a divorce, especially with kids. Hopefully they all can live happily, one way or another.

I'm very concerned for them both financially.

I think she has stated that she wanted Tom to be more involved with the kids and thought that would happen with his retirement. But he only knows football and is so type A there is little room for anything or anyone else.
I think he will regret this decision. He has achieved everything on the field, and it is still the transformational years for his children.
Just goes to show you that it is very difficult to have it all, appreciate it, accept it and live it. Life is a challenge for all!
There is a time for everything. TB did not recognize that his time on the field needed to be over, and to spend more time with a growing family. He dumped his old girlfriend (Bridget) and that train has left the station. Personal choices do not equal on-the-field decisions. I don't feel bad for him, and will feel even less if/when the Bucs don't make the playoffs.
I think he is done after this year anyway. I'm sure there is more to the story than coming back. Many professionals spend an extraordinary amount of time working at the expense of their home.

Brady is going through what over 50% of people have gone through. It's always hard on the children. The wealthy aren't immune to it!
