I'd be pissed if I was him.

0 snaps last week on defense with Smith out, now playing Punt Return on ST's and probably just broke his ankle.

Put cheddar cheese, chopped green onion, and a delicious salsa on any baked potato and it's now way more fun to eat - love it!

Meat and potatoes can be great. I only wish someone had introduced her to a few things like rosemary, garlic, fresh basil....
I grew up in a strong German household...meat and potatoes were the main staple.  With a little bit of salt and a lot of pepper...on everything.

and mustard... love me some mustard, all different kinds,  its easily the top condiment used in my house.  well that and miracle whip ( pasta and potato salads )

Grew up on Miracle Whip as well......in fact, my Mom called it mayonnaise so my sister and I grew up thinking that's what mayo was. First time as teenagers having real Hellman's mayo and we were like, 'what is this shit?' lol. Can't stand Miracle Whip now, haven't tried it in 35 years.

I grew up on the whip and cant stand mayo,   we keep mayo around but only for making grilled cheese or other toasted bread ( browns bread better than butter )  other than that mayo has no flavor....but to each there own.

I still love meat and potatoes. My palate has been definitely expanded mightily thanks to my wife and I like an array of different kinds of cuisines, but being raised Midwest, I'll always love my comfort foods. Currently on a Greek, Indian and Jamaican kick the last few months.

Greek is probably my favorite. But I think the best of Taste of Travel Tuesday has been Spain. We watched Vicky Christina Barcelona. I discovered Gambas al Ajillo and my son discovered Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz.

I think that's best case scenario at this point. Greenway had an acl tear and limped off the field his rookie season. Cine's injury appeared much more gruesome and there's been no word on the exact injury is, just a lower leg issue that required immediate surgery. It sounds more like a Bridgewater type injury but for a guy who relies on speed and quick change of direction ability...that's not good.
Teddy had nerve damage from a knee injury,  Cine has a broken leg,   likely needed the surgery to place plates and pins,  but nothing I've seen so far suggests it more than that.  It's a long rehab,  but it won't necessarily derail his career anymore than Greenways knee did 20 years ago.
I hadn't heard it was simply a broken leg. Has there been any information released on exactly what the damage was? I hope he can come back, but even if he does, is he going to come back as the same player? I guess we'll all wait on more information to be released
all I heard was a lower leg fracture,  its a small consolation that it didnt appear to be compound or twisted so maybe its a quicker heal?  I have seen some blaming Boyd,  but this just looked more like a turf thing to me,  he didnt seem to be contacted by Boyd and it appeared he got a cleat caught while moving laterally,  the kind of thing you would see and expect a knee lig tear or maybe an ankle before broken bones IMO.
It's a tib/fib fracture. That takes a blow to the lower leg. It's not something that happens from the turf. The turf causes ligament injuries. The Vikings had a cornerback with the same injury in 2009 who never recovered, but despite a long road, Cine may well recover and have no adverse effects. He's certainly no bust. What he is, is very unfortunate.
Which is what I expected to see when rewatching the video,  but there was no contact with the lower leg that would have produced that result.  The only thing I saw was am awkward block attempt just as Boyd came in and hit the gunner and Cines sideways foot impacted the turf and seemed to stick for a brief second and he went to the ground.   I missed it live and the only video I have seen shows nothing from Boyd in terms of collision with Cines leg.
The foot hitting the turf sideways could cause the fracture, but it would take a lot of force and would be a rare injury. I didn't see the replay so I don't know. Just speaking from my experience in my decades of practicing medicine. BTW, I was up in your area fishing last week. Fishing was good. Your son still fishing?

I would take Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz over the shrimp. But I'm going make this recipe tonight. Easy recipe. Quick to make. And sounds very good. Thanks.

goose hunting season... and bow hunting season... I have actually done more fishing in the last month than he has,  I was able to get out for 2 days the last couple weekends on a local lake with the wife and some friends.

I agree on the injury,  watch the replay and tell me what you see, that leg literally had not contact other than Cines weight coming down laterally on it.

That was my fear. Injuries suck, but he was a strange pick to begin with and now it's likely we don't get any return from that investment. You have to proceed like he won't be back and if he's able to return at some point and give us anything at all, consider it a bonus. If Booth continues his college MO of being dinged up regularly...then yeah, bust of a first draft by our new GM

Much of this thread talks about players never returning from similar injuries, but most of them were in their 30s. Cine is 23.

I get how 2023 could be in doubt, because even when it heals, he's still got to rebuild his body and his confidence in the leg. There's also the question of whether he'll be the same player at that point. Might be 2024 before we see that.
