1), Think Cook may be expendable after this season and Mattison may not be? I'm not sure DC is going to see the end of his contract - as it's written today.
I know, lots of football left to play and we do need em both as the roster sits now - what a luxury.
2). Why the hell didnt Lions go for it on that last 4 down they had?

I thought cook was expendable after last season. It isn’t that I think he is done, just not worth the money. Admittedly I don’t know what trading him would do for or against our cap tho so that all would have to be looked at.
And I have no idea why they didn’t go for it. Odd.
I was kinda surprised they didn't move him but like Mike I have no idea what the cap implications would have been.
Hes a special talent, but not that much better than others at the position. If he gets you 7, they would get 5, he doesn't seem to have that take it to the house gear, or that iron horse power, hes just a really nice back but I wouldn't be upset if they could move him for decent compensation. Would be interested in seeing some fast Kenny and Chandler if Cook can't answer the bell next week.
Cook is good but he’s not worth the contract. I’m not sure any RB is worth big money. Just keep drafting and letting them walk.
