How bout that call on Tom Johnson?
It was the right call by a rule standpoint. Tom was falling though and when you are in that battle you want that sack no matter what. I wouldn't have called it as he wasn't trying to hurt him.
Horseshit. But it was Brees back there, he'll get some calls.
It was a BS call. Looked to me like TJ hit Brees with a shoulder pad like you're supposed to.
Right call according to the rules. Didn't look like Johnson was trying to cause injury, though after what those bastards did in 2009 I really don't really care if Brees takes a few shots.

Exactly. That was a clean hit as it was above the knees and below the shoulders.
By the rules it was a bad call.
Horseshit call...Stevie Wonder could see it was a horseshit call...

I've been looking for a slow mo gif of it... I thought the replay showed a hit to the thigh...

he did hit him in the thigh, not a low hit unless the refs are wearing their bull shit shades.
Brees is short, ref must have been a baseball ump and went with the smaller strike zone.

and the way these QB like to try and duck and spin when somebody is coming in on them, you better get lower than you want to be or you will club them in the head and we know thats always going to get a flag.

Unless it is Bradford against the Cowboys...
I also saw a hit to the thigh. If that QB is wearing purple it's a no-call.
As soon as Johnson sacked Brees, I knew a flag was coming. If it is a close call on Brees, Rodgers, or Brady, we are getting flagged. When Griffin anticipated the snap and was off the line quickly and sacked Brees - flag. Whether he was off-sides is a close question. Whether we are getting flagged is a no brainer. We've got a long ways to go before we get the benefit of the doubt on close calls, especially against those QBs.
Ask Seattle how they liked playing GB at GB. What happens when you push Rodgers from the side? Bad things. Very bad things. And that's Seattle!
When it happened my buddy said, "if thats a penalty why and the hell do i watch this shit!?"
Im glad we overcame it; I kinda forgot about it. But right after it happened i felt an overwhelming sense of hopelessness. It was a key situation for our D and it felt really shitty. ... i was pretty drunk, so that may or may not have helped...
