I did a quick look and didnt see anything for how gets what out there yet.  It is a late game and it is on FOX, so I would suspect looking at the other 3 games in the late slot that day its likely a national game,  however the Chiefs play the Cards in that same time slot so that might be considered more of a regional interest than Vikings packers.

EDIT:  Correction,  it appears as though both FOX and CBS get a double header week one and both of those games will be the national late game that afternoon,  so yes you should be planning your party.

week one with both networks highlighted means both will have a later game,  and the bolded games for each network are the nationally televised games for each time slot... now,  will it be on his TV?  hard to say,  TX is a big state and could possibly fall into other markets... but I have my doubts on that.

its the national game of the week for fox,  so most of the country will get the game.... will you?

Emailed my local Fox affiliate. They said Detroit and Philly are currently scheduled but it's subject to change. Did online chat with Direct Tv and they said NFL Ticket is not available on streaming. Also they wouldn't sell the NFL ticket only even if you did it via satellite. Have to purchase a package and to a contract.

Am I SOL?

maybe ask them to look again.  the philly vs detroit game is a noon start time.  

this link still has the Vikes Pack as the national game, so since the only other NFC game at that time would be TN vs NYG,  and you arent really very close to nashville or nyc,  I would think its pretty likely that you get the Vikes game,  but who knows with the cowboys being rivals with the giants if that could play into it.  either way,  i dont think you got a good answer when you called your fox affiliate.   https://506sports.com/nfl/

I emailed again.. HE CONFIRMED PACK AND VIKES WE BE ON!!  party time!! so excited about football this year.
