Mintze is a pretty good signing for this stage of free agency. 2nd year player. UDFA, but made the Broncos 53 out of training camp, then got hurt and was released. Nice ILB size at 6-3-250 and one of the best 10-yard splits ever....
His 10-yard split, a metric that Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has prioritized in his roster revamp this offseason, tested at 1.52 seconds, tied for the fifth-fastest 10-yard split by any outside linebacker since 1999, per the Mockdraftables database.
I think he has a decent chance to stick considering the smallish, 4-3 traits of players like Surratt and Dye.
