Sad that rappers like Eminem and Jay-Z get into the Rock n Roll HOF when real rock icons like Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock get snubbed

Nobody's going to agree on who should be in the rock hall. I think Eminem and Jay-Z have had a far bigger impact than the two you mention, but if it were up to me, none of them would go in. I mean, it's kind of a joke when Lionel Richie, Harry Belafonte, Eminem and Dolly Parton qualify as "rock n roll." But I think we've had this conversation on this board about 16 times.

Yeah... I was joking. C'mon I thought freaking Limp Bizkit was obvious sarcasm! The oldheads who try to gatekeep the rock hall crack me up. Most of the true legends are already in and they have a business to run. Mainstream rock n roll has been dead for a while other than a select few, so it's either branch out to modern genres or close up shop. Not surprised with what they've chosen. Good for them.

R&R HOF is a crock of shit. Don't call yourself the Rock & Roll HOF when so many noteworthy bands haven't gotten in (don't get me started on Iron Maiden not being in, or Judas Priest just getting in after however many years).

As to MB's point, either change the name to the Music HOF where you have all different genres of music included or keep it to what it's called - the ROCK & ROLL Hall of Fame with just rock bands.

Well, ya just never know on a football board. I think I've heard people make very similar complaints, but I suppose that was your point. Well played.

Other than Nugent & Charlie Daniels....have no idea what you're talking about. 
None of the others on my list, have personally/bandally posted politics?  

And for that matter...Nuge & Charlie only pontificated late in their careers, after the majority of their "body of work" was recorded.  

So is it liberal artists, only?  Fine if it is.  Just admit it.

Well, I didn't find any of the above bands, I listed. 

But, I did find NYC's  Broadway production from Les Mis's "Do you hear the People sing?"....played at a Trump rally. 
You have an example/link/proof of your assertion?  Seriously.
