UDFA's...
Following the draft, the Vikings agreed to terms with nine undrafted free agents on Saturday night:
two edge rushers in Miami's Zach McCloud and Wake Forest's Luiji Vilain,
two receivers in Virginia Tech's Tre Turner and Appalachian State's Thomas Hennigan,
Tulane punter Ryan Wright,
Toledo running back Bryant Koback, Tulsa defensive tackle Tyarise Stevenson, Sacred Heart center Josh Sokol and Miami (Ohio) safety Mike Brown.
The Vikings offseason roster is now at the maximum 90 players following the additions of 10 draft picks and nine undrafted free agents.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Am I correct that Josh Sokol is the only true center we added? Let the Wyatt Davis to center rumblings start. I really like that we have a ton of IOL options to choose from so hopefully that creates enough competition to make the OL “Average”.
That Punter from Tulane. Big kid, big leg. Ray Guy finalist. Boomer. Gonna give a big competition for the roster spot.
Oh great now Kwesi signed a Canadian villain too…! ;) :p
I believe the receiver from Virginia Tech, Tre Turner, signed with the Raiders.

Wyatt Davis took snaps there last year. And Ingram had a few center reps at the Senior Bowl. I think the plan is to have one of those guys be the backup center.

@"PurplePastor" said:Unlikely, but certainly possible. I really like Ingram's size and ability to anchor in pass pro. I'm hoping they give him center snaps in training camp, because if Bradbury continues to struggle there, this could be the guy.@"MaroonBells" said:Or win the job outright.@"Hawkvike25" said: Am I correct that Josh Sokol is the only true center we added? Don't know anything about him, but Luiji Villain has to be one of the great all time names.
A whopping $227,000 guaranteed for Luiji Vilain -- $20,000 signing bonus plus $207,000 guaranteed base salary.

Vilain looks like an intriguing prospect. He had issues with both knees and as such no playing time at MI. He did do well with Wake forest. His ceiling remains high.

He was a big time prospect coming out of high school.
