My mom died.
I haven't been around much, but I still have some friends here and thought I'd let them know. Short version, she went in for an abdominal blockage surgery on
March 7th(her second blockage since Aug 2021), there were complications
and she was pronounced dead on March 27th. I am executor of her estate
and been busy with that.
During this time
the company I drive for sold to another company in Panora Iowa. About 2
hours south of me, so I basically lost my job the same week I buried my
mom.

I think I've hit a bit of a rough patch...

Zerk- I’m so sorry. That’s a very big deal. It changed my perspective on life. Deepest condolences pal. You have been a big part of this board. I always looked forward to your take on the most recent game. You are missed. C’mon back when you are ready and hang with us.
Damn. So sorry. You will recover from this rough patch. Many of us have gone through similar. Get up each morning, put your feet on the ground and keep moving forward.
So sorry, it is rough and will remain difficult. All you can do is keep moving on and growing in your life as it is, with her no longer there.
