Folks had quite a bit of damage at their farm. Several sheds down. East of Faribault, West of Kenyon. Looks like 2-3 tornados with another potentially near Nerstrand. Lots of down powerlines and other farms that way with significant damage. Missed the towns that way though.
My neighbor who is a weather nut says my folks were hit by a down burst, which I guess is an upsidedown tornado as described to me.

IIRC, they are a rapid and violent collapse of a storm cloud. The air is pushed out in all directions by the rain/hail in a cloud when the updraft that created that cloud or cell suddenly weakens and all that precipitation aloft just dumps as once. Imagine bucket being dumped on one spot and not just the water spreading out but also the air being pushed down and outward by the moisture as it drops.
They can be just as devastating as low scale tornados.
