Should we clean up the pinned threads now?

Definitely can unpin the one about my wife passing away. I did appreciate it though.

Honestly I thought I had,  I dont see them any longer except the one for Loch,  which I was going to dismiss after the draft.

Reminder anybody can choose to unpin a thread by selecting sink under the gear icon on the first post of a thread.  At least I think anybody can do that.

To dismiss, I just click on the gear of the pinned thread and click Dismiss.  I think.  Don't see any pinned threads now because I always dismiss them.  Not sure what the "Sink" option does.

I don't know how to unpin for everyone.

To dismiss, I just click on the gear of the pinned thread and click Dismiss.  I think.  Don't see any pinned threads now because I always dismiss them.  Not sure what the "Sink" option does.

thats what I do as well, but apparently it doesnt unpin it for all.  IIRC sink allows a thread to just drop away in your feed, regardless of if somebody posts in it or not.  if you get sick of a topic,  but have no self control and cant help but jumping back in... hit sink and it will eventually fall off the first page and you wont see that that people are still responding to it?
