Viking fans might like this mock...
1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan2. Detroit Lions – Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
3. Houston Texans – Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
4. New York Jets – Travon Walker, DE, Georgia
5. New York Giants (from Chicago Bears) – Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State
6. Carolina Panthers – Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt
7. Giants – Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
8. Atlanta Falcons – Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
9. Seattle Seahawks (from Denver Broncos) – Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE/OLB, Oregon
10. Jets (from Seahawks) – Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
11. Washington Commanders–Drake London, WR, USC
12. Minnesota Vikings – Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU
Patrick Peterson is back for another go in Minnesota, but the 31-year-old likely is a mere stopgap solution for a team desperate for support in the secondary. Perhaps the eight-time Pro Bowl selection could partake in a changing of the guard with Stingley, who looks in line to be LSU's next top-flight cornerback. The two-time All-American still has to shake any doubts about his recovery from a Lisfranc injury, but a stellar showing at his April 6 pro day could boost his cause as a potential top-10 pick.
13. Texans (from Cleveland Browns) – Jermaine Johnson, DE, Florida State14. Baltimore Ravens – Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia
Where exactly does a 6-6, 341-pound defensive tackle find his place in the modern NFL? How about Baltimore, with a franchise that has coveted its jumbo defensive linemen? Davis is capable of generating significant pressure from the interior, and the Ravens could help him become more than just a big body at the next level.
15. Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami Dolphins) – Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
No way Gardner lasts that long...But two QB's going that high certainly helps our chances @ 12.
This is about as good as we can realistically expect. Ideally, the top 11 picks will include 2 QBs but even if only 1 goes we can see:
3 Edge (there could be 4 if we include Jermaine Johnson);
3 OTs (add in Cross);
1 QB (2 may seem like a stretch but it's QBs so anything goes);
2 WRs (3 of the biggest moves this off-season involved WRs: Adams, Hill, Cooper. Others signed big contracts);
1 S;
1 CB.
That would leave one of the two top CBs plus Jordan Davis available at 12.
Based on what I've heard (barring Stingley failing to perform on 4/6) Stingley has a growing chance of going in the top 10. I think Sauce goes #7 to NYG and then Stingley goes #10 to the Jets with Hamilton falling out of the top 10, possibly going 11th to the Commanders.

If we got a shot at Hamilton at 11 we should be trading up for him. Not sure what ammo it would take?
Adding a freak of nature to our backfield even if he's safety would be more then we could ask for.

Hamilton would be a great pick regardless. Because even if they think Bynum is slotted to start at one safety, the other guy is getting old. There are people who have Hamilton as the best overall talent in the draft. But it's possible, because of position value and his lackluster 40 time, he could drop to 12.

Impactful players make impacts.

If both CBs go and then Hamilton goes one pick before us, that's gonna sting. I would assume they'd be trying to move back if that happens. A lot like last year with Slater going to LAC.
But hey we did beat the Bears in that last game! *eye roll*

Everything he showed on tape in 2021 showed he could play and that was only a few month in as a safety.@"Geoff Nichols" said: Based on what I've heard (barring Stingley failing to perform on 4/6) Stingley has a growing chance of going in the top 10. Personally I would take him and run. Safety lacks positional value but you could do so much with Smith/Hamilton on the back-end and at the LOS you could probably derive more value out of the pick vs. a team who would have Hamilton as their sole safety.
Like a lot of other prospects in the past, I'll laugh if positional value and his 40 time drop him out of the top-10. The guy is an animal on the field and there is no need for him to be a track star. My gosh, have you seen his range in coverage?
Hamilton falling to 12 would be awesome! I love when teams overthink things and take Mike Mamula instead of a football player.

If they won, they won, but loss and we are sitting in a better position for Sauce, Stingley, or Hamilton

So tired of the Vikings winning meaningless end of the year games.@"Geoff Nichols" said: Based on what I've heard (barring Stingley failing to perform on 4/6) Stingley has a growing chance of going in the top 10. I could certainly see that playing out, although I'd hate to see Hamilton get swooped up in front of our faces. If both Stingley and Hamilton are still on the board when the Jets pick comes up at #10, I'm trying like hell to move uupinto that spot to secure one of those players.
