These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG

Current ContractTom Brady signed a 1 year, $25,000,000 contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including a $20,000,000 signing bonus, $25,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $25,000,000. In 2022, Brady will earn a base salary of $8,925,000, a signing bonus of $15,000,000, a roster bonus of $1,470,588 and a incentive bonus of $1,875,000, while carrying a cap hit of $20,270,588 and a dead cap value of $15,000,000.

So Brady re-signed for a Cap hit of $11 million less than Cousins, basically.
Let's hope he doesn't have anything left in the tank.

Its funny because there's always a little truth in something that's funny. Hey, celebrity/sports guys saying they are 'retiring': stop saying its so you can see MORE of your family. You are full of shit.

Just say "I need more attention so I'm doing this (retiring) so I can get MORE attention when I come because I realized I can't get by without a lot of attention". Would respect the shit out of that.
