The #Packers and MVP QB Aaron Rodgers have agreed to terms on a 4-year, $200M deal that makes him the highest paid player in NFL history, sources say. He gets a whopping $153M guaranteed and his cap number goes down. A monstrous commitment by GB for years to come

Well, their owners aren't exactly bright.

Not sure what it says besides they dont feel Love is a first ballot HOF QB coming off back to back MVP seasons. Will be interesting to see if Rodgers contract is more than two years if maybe Denver takes a run at trading for Love.

Edit: Welp Denver kicking the tires on  Love was a big wiff on my part. LOL!

Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the @packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I “signed”. I’m very excited to be back

I'm sure he's pissed Denver just upstaged him.

& Adams gets tagged… Here’s a stat that I like: Since winning the Super Bowl, Aaron Rodgers is 7-9 in playoff games & is 0-3 in NFC championship games.  B)

I'm all in favor of pissing on Erin Rodgers but I'd be a lot happier if the Vikings had 16 playoff games under their belts since 2010 than the Packers regardless of who was playing qb.  This fan could use something bettter to root for than "haha Packers".   That's fun but us winning something that mattered would be 10x the fun.

& I’m sure you’d want more if you were a Packer fan too!  B) I was merely pointing out that the league’s highest paid player has not been, shall we say, quite as effective in the postseason as he has in the regular season.

Man they’re going to have to off load some serious talent to get this all done. Might be some players to look at on the defensive side of the ball.

I absolutely 100% believed he was heading Denver, especially after the playoffs.

Me too. Denver did too. It's likely a deal was in place for both Rodgers and Wilson right up until Rodgers signed his extension.

Nah, GB would have been fools to let him walk...Unfortunately he's probably got another couple good years in him. He's better at QB than Favre was.

Question now is will the best intentions on GB's part play out or did the horseshoe well dry-up?

I dont know if in the next 3 years their window is any more than what it's been the past 3. Hopefully someone in the North can give them a run for their $$$.

Their dominance in the division reminds me of the Vikings in the 70's.
