Yeah, I can see him being underwhelmed since O'Connell showed up.

I would love to hear what Florio feels as after this press conference, because this is on the most impressive ones I have seen by a coach.  This guy seems incredibly intelligent, confident, passionate and organized.  Not sure how you can watch this and not totally love him as a coach.

I don't have an issue with anything Florio said and could absolutely be 100% right on how this all plays out when all is said and done. It's cotton candy and rainbows currently, but let's see if O'Connell can prove him wrong. For all our long suffering sake's.. let's hope he does. Nobody knows how this is going to turn out but there's as much reason to be apprehensive as there is to believe OConnell is taking us to the Super Bowl. Show us the baby

Agree to an extent for sure. No way to know yet how this will turn out. And it is all about the wins and losses, we'll see that soon enough. Guarded optimism is probably the way to go, unbridled rainbow covered optimism, well....yeah. Probably too much. But that's what fans do, its why they are called fans. Especially today with fans under 30 where everything that happened today is either the absolute best in history or sucks donkey balls.

I thought that was a pretty good conversation between a man whose only reason for not liking KOC was because he desperately wanted Harbaugh...and a man who absolutely despises Harbaugh. I came away more convinced we made the right decision.

I felt that same way.  Florio just about flip flopped towards the end when he starting comparing the KOC hire to the LaFleur and Tayor hires.
