Just out of curiosity here. I live in California but have been a Vikings fan since I was a kid. Besides the Vikings I'm a fan of:

Oakland Athletics- This is a tough one for me. Lifelong fan but if they move to Vegas I'm done. I've followed them through salary cap purges and rebooting of the roster about every five years. Billy Beane turns more chicken shit into chicken salad more then anybody I've ever seen

Sacramento Kings- Another tough one. Longest playoff drought of almost every pro sports team. Very happy to see them make some changes and thrilled with the Sabonis trade. Hope for the future but still a lot of work to do.

Notre Dame- Huge Irish football fan but the basketball team has been really good too the last decade or so.

This might be sacrilege but I don't watch hockey of any type. Just have never gotten into it

As a kid, I was a big fan of the Reds and Celtics, but I don't really follow them anymore. The Vikings represent about 99.9% of my focus. All other teams share the .01%.

And I've never understood this 2nd favorite team thing.

UND Hockey, Twins, and the Wild are amazing this season and so fun to watch.  They have a real shot this season to go deep in the playoffs, and maybe win a cup - yeah, I said it.  :p

MN Wild, Gophers hockey, football and basketball and Timberwolves. I follow college hockey football, hockey and basketball overall. I also follow minor hockey leagues. The Twins are an afterthought. I also follow Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. I enjoy the Premier League and Bundesliga.

Funny that "troughs" are being discussed.

I live in an area that is old coal-miner territory.  A friend of a friend bought an old bar that he basically uses it as a personal speakeasy.  He had about 20 of us there last night for the game and two weeks before for the Championship games.

Anyway, right below the bar was a trough for the miners to just belly up to the bar and just piss right down into the trough whenever the need.  It was slightly slanted so that it would all trickle down to a drain at the low end.  Needless to say, that there was never a line for the Men's room, in fact I even wonder if they had a restroom.  Further thought (my head hurts) how did they drop the kids off into the pool???  Trough is probably part of the answer for that as well.

Supa, being a Bay Area boy since 1970 (born in Minnesota but dad moved us to No Cal), i could understand the love of the A’s. Heck, i saw them win three chips in a row in the 70’s, and kick my SF Giants ass in the earthquake series (i was living in the bay for that one, got incredible stories). BUT the Sac. Kings???!!! Good Lord you really like to suffer! lol! Surprised you didnt become a Warriors fan. i wqs at their chip n the 70’s as a young boy, then suffered like a Kings fan until Steph arrived!  in fact the 20teens were very good to me as a SF Giants fan and Warriors fan. Just need the Vikes to make itva tri-fecta!

Yes I live in the central valley (shithole) so always followed the Kings more then the Warriors. That was the sportschannel I watched and the radio shows I listened to covered the Kings. I'm happy for you though who stuck it out with the Warriors all those down years to see what they've become over the last decade. I think they've got a great chance at winning it again this year. Great mix of old and young talent, and Kerr is one of the best coaches in the game
