Even packer fans are ready to be done with his drama.

Or... it doesn't happen the way you anticipate and you get 2010 Favre and zero return on your soul.

Big difference between Favre and Rodgers though. Favre played with such infectious enthusiasm that you loved and hated him at the same time.  He was a Packer so you hated his prowess but he seemed to so genuinely love playing that you had to love that too. Not so with Rodgers.  He plays like a spoiled brat-petulant, arrogant, pompous. His talent is grudgingly granted but never revered. I could never get used to Rodgers as a Viking. Just couldn’t watch.

I can't get behind a QB that won't go down on Olivia Munn.

No can do.

Some would,  but im sure you would be in a small minority,  and in no way would it be a measure of a fans love for the team.  There's no love or respect by him for the Vikings or the fans of the team.  It doesn't matter as it's not going to happen,  not like Watson coming here is anyway.   :p

Favre was a back-slapping, likable huckster with a gunslinger mentality...

Rogers is a cool, cold, condescending surgeon

Big Diff

This is exactly it!  I hated Favre when the Vikings played the Packers, but loved his boyish enthusiasm. So, when the team sent a plane for him, I was all in. Even before the 2010 season I was still in.  Rodgers is a D-Bag! Always pouting, always pointing the finger.

I would begrudgingly hope he did well if he became a Viking. But, it would probably end up the same way it always does with him. Losing in the playoffs and blaming everyone else.

I used to think Favre was lucky when he played against the Vikings. When he played for the Vikings I realized he was really good. Finally had to admit it.
Favre had a great personality. Rodgers is a great QB. That's all.

I truly believe Rogers would happen before that.  I wouldn’t want Watson unless and until he’s exonerated.  Now that’s too much baggage and drama.

Only one thing wrong with your theory.  I don’t care in the least people that choose to mask or people who choose to be vaccinated.  I won’t belittle. I won’t yell.  I won’t care AT ALL.  The problem is the other side developed a sense of self-righteousness early on.  Only as the evidence continues to pile in have they finally started to shut up at a personal level and have  their leaders scurried back to their holes.  Of course, November approaches and that’s not a coincidence.  Joe will soon be claiming victory even as he somehow managed to mess this up In every conceivable way.   Rogers received a bunch of criticism from the exact same self-righteous crowd,  and those fans will NEVER forgive him for having the audacity to question leadership and push back.  He should be jailed according to them.  I don’t want to jail anybody, take away their medical services, or attack them in the streets.  The other side can’t say the same, and that’s sad..  so other than that, you were totally on the right side with your opinion.  Lol

The side promoting the anti-vax, anti-mask approach have plenty of self-righteousness as well. Rodgers is proof of that.

I guess the only question I have is whether you are able to make a post on a football forum without bringing up the vax/ nonvax debate? Aren't you a little bored by a debate where both sides are firmly dug in and aren't going to change their opinions. I mean no offense, but can't we move on?
