Question About Cousins

If Cousins was on the Rams instead of Stafford, would he be going to the SB.
The reason I ask is that I have heard many times that it is obvious that Cousins isnt going to take us to the promised land but I believe that Cousins is better than Stafford.  Or at least those two are equal.  I am really surprised that Stafford is going as I always felt you could beat him be rattling him with pressure.

Is it the team (and OC) around Cousins that holds him back.  

I know Cousins and Stafford cant carry a team like Brady or Rodgers which gives the Packers and Bucs a huge advantsge to even get to the playoffs but could we build a team around Cousins if his contract was not so blamed large and get to the SB with him?

I guess the Vikings had hoped they were getting a Rodgers/Brady and invested way too much in the QB position.  Hind sight?
