Giants DC Pat Graham to interview for Viking's HC job
Giants DC Pat Graham will interview virtually for Minnesota Vikings head coaching vacancy tomorrow, I’m told.

Yea, not liking this thought-process at all. Giants have been crap for years and are not real known to be pumping out good coaches. Is this guy from the Shumur tree or Joe Judge??I am pulling for Morris or O'Connell at this point.
This will be Kwesi's first big decision and even this look-see makes me Kwesi.

Still No :)

Ya'll better get ready for some unconventional thinking. I'd say KAM is more likely to hire his guy based on leadership, strategic and philosophical alignment than whatever his record might have been with a terrible team. There are a thousand different factors that go into that.
And ya know what? I don't disagree with that approach. The whole idea behind analytics is to look beyond the surface results.
Honestly, it looks like cronyism to me.

I am with you there. More like ..."let me find a way to justify this 'unpopular' decision".
Anyway, my approach has been not to criticize the thought process. I'll wait and see the results and then ask questions.

looks to me like Kwesi is just sharpening up his interview skills on someone he knows the Vikings will never hire. ;)
no one else is considering Graham for HC. so its prob good due dilligence on DCs. I hope
Maybe it's buying time until a team in the playoffs is eliminated.

KAM is sharpening his interviewer skills so hes not nervous for the real ones.... this is just practice.

I'm already getting over this: Let's get Kwesi crazy and expect the unconventional. Sometimes the best decision is an easy decision, and it is nothing unconventional. I mean this is getting to the point in two days where Kwesi might be talking to Elon Musk for HC :)
I will give the guy some room to make his first big decision as long as it is Morris/O'Connell :)

That is what happens when you let Dalvin Tomlinson slip through your fingers. ;)

Every GM will look at stats differently. HC’s will too. It’s a passing league and the Giants ranked middle of the pack in advanced passing defense. They were pretty bad in advanced rushing defense though. 49ers are the only team left in the top 14 for advanced rushing defense (Pro Football Reference Metrics) FWIW.Wish we knew what Kwesi looked at for advanced analytics so maybe who he hires guides us in that direction.
I interact daily with a few Giant fanatics. General consensus...they like him a lot, but don't see him as a head coach yet. Super smart, players really like him and they are hoping to keep him as DC. See him as a HC in a few years time.

As far as HC goes, the reason Id take the chance is because of his ability to recognize league trends and adapt to it, and I feel like he’d pick good OCs because of that pic.twitter.com/VeNXs7XyFL

When Adofo-Mensah got the job, a name he gave the Vikes in his int'w was added to the HC search—Graham's.

The Black Picasso? This is getting beyond silly.
Waiting on one of these for Harbaugh
