Poles To Round Two?
Glad they’re making progress and narrowing it down. I’m really not sold on Bienemy though so I hope this isn’t headed down that road. But if it is, I’ll trust they know what they’re doing.
Bieniemy in Denver today.
Only interview that I've heard of for him so far.
Watch Kafka get a job before him.
this would not upset me. I am not really pulling for any 1 guy, just kind of know what I dont really want to see in those roles.

Pros
Replaced an existing QB with a somewhat under the radar QB
Championship background
FO was good at drafting and acquiring vets via trade and FA.
Cons
Probably can't find a decent rib place in Minneapolis
1) As of noon, zero sense any of the 8 external GM candidates have been notified that they are in (and set for a 2nd interview) or out. That's coming.
2) Told the report that Jim Caldwell turned down a formal request to interview w/ the Vikings is false.
The #Vikings are requesting second interviews with #Chiefs executive director of player personnel Ryan Poles and #Browns VP of Football Operations Kwesi Adofo-Mensah for their GM job, per sources. As of now, those are the two finalists.

They don't know why they want something and they aren't sure why they are against something else. Change means it will get better in their view, and that isn't the case. I just want something new and different and it will all get better, they say.. Unfortunately, not necessarily the case. No matter who they hire, its a crapshoot.
Chiefs’ executive director of player personnel Ryan Poles, one of two finalists for the Vikings’ GM job, now is being asked to interview a second time for the Bears’ GM job, per league source.

If Poles is the guy the Wilf's prefer could they lose him to the Bears? It seems like after it was announced that the Vikings were inviting him in for a 2nd interview the Bears announced they too were going to interview him a 2nd time, scheduling that interview before the Vikings get a chance on Wednesday.
Now if you are Poles and get an offer from the Bears does he wait until he talks to the Vikings again or take the sure thing in Chicago if offered?
Poles seems to have an offensive pedigree, but can he build a defense? I'd say besides for 1-2 interior linemen we're pretty set. The defense is full of questions and getting closer to that Limburger expiration date.
