First interim HC to make the playoffs. I'd give him another year.

Whatever they decide it's a respectable move by Davis to let it play out before starting the search (at least publicly).

Was kinda of hoping they would win, so one less team to compete with; not that the Raiders have been a coveted place to coach. Glad for the Bengal's though.

Carr is a puss. 4th and goal and your pass isnt even into the end zone? Forget the fact that the guy was completely covered. Dont trust QBs that wear eye black I guess

When Carr let the ball go his receiver was standing on the goal line. Calling him a puss because the defense jumped the route and everyone came back to the ball a yard?

What QB throws a ball borderline end zone on 4th and goal? The defender caught it at the one so yes, kind of a puss move to throw that

He honestly may have done it, which I will say is a puss move, but Kirk went for the kill vs Panthers and has actually won a playoff game where Carr has not. Just dont want to see Carr>Kirk again

The ball gets to his receiver and it's a TD. But go on...

Have you actually watched the replay? He didnt catch it at the one inch yard line, like it was the full yard and a defender was behind him pushing him forward. The ball was nowhere close to the goal line. I strongly encourage you to watch the replay

Watched it multiple times.  Receiver had a guy in back of him and the guy who made he interception in front. As soon as the receiver saw the guy in front jump the route everyone moved forward and the catch was made at the 1. Had the ball made it to the receiver, nobody would have been allowed to interfere with him as he was at the goal line and likely would have broken the plane.

Beyond that, how is it a shortcoming on Carr's part and not the receiver to have not gotten the extra yard? Did you see anyone else who was open in the end zone? Based on how you saw that play develop, had Carr waited another second you're seeing a better outcome?

OK so we can basically agree he wasnt throwing into the end zone then? If no one was open then wait a little longer as he had great protection. He was flustered and panicked and threw way too soon. Bad decision

He might have had another second in the pocket, but it wouldn't have mattered. The play call seemed really odd in that it didn't look like he had a secondary option. Waller was a decoy (and didn't sell it), Renfrow ran into the flat (clearly a decoy), Bryan Edwards ran into the end zone, but looked to be there to wash out the left end zone. That left Zay Jones as the primary (only) target. Getting him the ball sooner than later was the plan, unfortunately for the Raiders, Cincy had the perfect defense called, and blew it up.

Ok so what are we saying that? Just bad play call where Carr had no power over what took place? He had a full second or more to figure something else out. If they actually had no one run into the end zone then thats a total joke of a play. Either way, he didnt have to throw that so quickly into double coverage where the situation is already what I described.

Look again for yourself bud... If you see it that Carr was supposed to pull another open receiver in the end zone out of thin air in a matter of a second, I got nothing for ya. Total joke of a play? A receiver not doing his job? It is what it is, but calling Carr a puss over this is kinda wrong.

We hate on Kirk all the time for this stuff but because Carr had all the time in the world and threw a full yard short into double coverage with the season on the line I have to re-evuate my opinion? Is the playcall his fault? Absolutely not. Could he have extended the play? Yes. 99% of social media agrees so maybe you should also look again, bud

Where am I on record hating on Kirk? We've already determined that had the person who made the interception not jumped the route, the throw wouldn't have been short. It appears the play call was poorly designed or at the very least very high risk. There were no open receivers. Finally, 99% of social media holds no relevance.

So you are directing your defense? My comment was Carr was a puss for throwing a full yard short into double coverage with the game on the line.

Some defense was Kirk throws short on third and fourth down and this does happen, I agreed.

I, just like the majority of folks who saw the play on social media are commenting that Carr threw to a receiver short of the end zone with the season on the line (like me) and were making fun of it. Sorry I'm in the majority on this, bud

He’s a puss for maybe throwing a ball one yard short of the end zone?  This has to be amongst the stupidest takes of all time.  Lol
