Best helmet throw ever.

No matter what, this is the play that I will never get tired of watching. Say what you want about Case and his horse shoe, but he had leadership skills and ultra competitive drive in spades over Kirk, and that took us further than Cousins ever has.

I know this sounds crazy, but based on that play, the emotion.  Maybe because I was in a Vikings bar in Manhattan that was shoulder to shoulder.  A bar that was a Saints bar in the back. . . but I have a hard time believing there will EVER be a better moment than that one.

Even winning a super bowl, unless it was on the last play of the game, non kick, might not be as fun as that moment was.

That moment still brings emotion when I watch it.  That moment is etched in our family.  All the years of being on the other end of those plays, 98, Bountygate, Walsh... were released in that moment.

It certainly was for me, massive bragging rights for an entire week.  Nothing has ever come close yet...

Great moment to end the game on...glad I was there. Zimmer's defense blowing a 17 point half time lead was not fun though.

My son was at the game and texted me before that final drive that "Something big is going to happen.  I can feel it!".  I was at home moping, and said to my wife "I just got a crazy text from Gabe, good for him, but I'm not feeling it.".   A few minutes later it happened; how cool is that? =)

I remember sitting on the couch for the next 5 minutes screaming " OH MY FUCKING GOD, I DON'T BELIEVE IT".

I remember going from super excited and positive and happy to just getting darker and darker and more pissed as the game went on. Pretty sure I didn't talk to anyone but my Budweisers during the 4th quarter and then... ABSOLUTE JUBILATION! Jumping up and down, yelling, hugging, I still remember who was over and watching that game that day. We walked down to the bar in our Vikings gear after the game just to enjoy a pint and let everyone know that yes, there are Vikings fans in California. Kings for a day, for sure. What a play. I will never have a bad word to say about Diggs based on his time here but also based on this one play alone. Same for Greg Lewis lol.

I had such a headache the rest of the day from screaming.  The dogs went nuts, luckily it was just my family watching with me cuz I went bonkers.  

This was such a phenomenal moment. I am glad I witnessed it in person. There were 3 elementary school teachers in front of us. They were so buzzed and singing lol. Everyone was hugging and high fiving everyone. I kept hearing people say no way and did that really just happen. I was sitting in the end zone Diggs ran to. When they replayed it the crowd erupted. And then the Skol chant lead by Keenum. It was absolute magic. People stayed for a couple of hours after the game to soak it all up.

Also get chills rewatching that, could not have been better scripted in a movie and the Diggs helmet through was just amazing.  Watching that and thinking about that team, two things that come to mind is was that too much emotion to come down from for the championship game and how did we not do all we could to keep that team together for another run.  

I have an autographed black and white 10 x 12 of the catch. My brother got it for me from one of his coworkers in Colorado Springs whose relative works for the Vikings <3 <3

Damn near walked out with about 2 minutes to go too. 

Glad I didnt. 

The Miracle was fantastic but I must be getting old. This was also a fantastic moment. Especially because (if memory serves me right) the Vikes ran the “hook and ladder” to get to mid field.
