Everyone can relax, great news here.....
...won't be needing a QB after all:
"Sam Darnold was a guy that jumped out to me personally and I've evaluated him at different points of his QB journey… I can't wait to get working with him and I think his best football is ahead of him" 👀

Damn it, now I have hope.
Maybe Sam and KOC can put something together, soon to be 27, 6' 3" 225 lbs. I'm old enough to remember Jim Plunkett, drafted 1st overall in the '71 draft and then left for dead after being passed around by several miserably bad teams. Outright released in '77 then picked up by the Raiders. Went on to play pretty well, won a couple of Super Bowls.

Would be wonderful, I'm still taking a QB early and let the best man win.

lol, me too. I hope everyone understands my sarcasm! :pIf by some miracle, KOC pulls a rabbit out of the skunk pit with Darnold, crown his ass. Physically, he's got what teams want in a NFL starting QB. But odds are very long.

Darnold is going to have the best year he's ever had. But we're not talking about a very high standard here. He's got a little White Winston in him (Nick Mullens).
Sorry KOC...
Nice things dont happen to Viking fans.
I'm at peace with that after 50 years.

So true. On some show they were talking about how Cowboys fans are struggling because of their Superbowl drought.
I hope Darnold has a great year and then signs a huge contract with another team. That could be a 3rd round comp. Although, we are going to have so much money to spend next year in FA that we probably won't qualify for comp picks.
Copy, paste, repeat. It's the same stuff he was saying about Dobbs. Count me on the "we're fucked" boat if Darnold starts most of the season
It would be cool though if Darnold is able to have a redemption arc. But of course they are still drafting the best qb they can
Man if talk developed quarterbacks and won championships, this fan base would be worn out from so many victory parades.
If the Vikings take a QB at 11 or earlier, he will be playing sooner rather than later. Darnold won't have many starts, if any!
I don’t believe one word he says about Darnold. He literally HAS to say that stuff because that’s his QB1. He has eyes and a brain, therefore he knows Darnold is dog shit

Hang in there, buddy....
"The Cubs, playing in their 11th World Series overall and their first since 1945, won their third championship and first since 1908, ending the longest championship drought in North American professional sports history."

Maye and McCarthy have bright futures, but anyone who starts them as a rookie is making a big mistake. The others less so.

The Phillies had the longest drought from birth to first title, 1883-1980.So to spin things positively, we're still #2!

Yep, and only 26 years to go to win the big one! Hang in there Vikings fans!

Fyi I fixed my original, had the year wrong.
