What does Dalvin think? That and some other notes
Have the Vikings reached their ceiling or can they run it back with this current group and expect a better result next year?

Dalvin Cook: "I’ve been here with these same people for the last five years. I had different coordinators every year, but my head coach and everything,
"I’ve been with these people five years, fighting and trying to win games, lost games, good times, bad times. I wouldn’t want to go to war with nobody else but these people. So whatever the future holds for everybody, I can’t picture it. I don’t know what’s going to happen. But I

"know I love these people in this building, that surround me. They support me so much and they back me so much, in everything I do. That’s the love I got for them, and I love these coaches around me. That’s all I got to say."

Cousins was asked about his future in Minnesota beyond this season ($45M cap hit in 2022, one year left on contract) and said while he's focused on the Bears right now, he "certainly want to be a Minnesota Viking for the rest of my career."

Well Kirk... help us out with a more cap friendly deal instead of getting these deals structured so we have less room to put good players around you long-term.
Cousins is unvaccinated and was asked how he handles being criticized for that choice when he tested positive for COVID-19 and missed the Packers game. https://t.co/QN0wZ9rQj8

@"PurpleCrush" said: https://twitter.com/CourtneyRCronin/status/1478801031517585413Yes Kirk it would have made a huge difference, there was a much greater chance of not getting Covid and playing if you were vaccinated. Can this guy just go now, so tired of everything is an excuse for him, he never takes responsibility for anything on or off the field.
@"PurpleCrush" said: https://twitter.com/CourtneyRCronin/status/1478801031517585413The difference made is that he wasn't able to play. I don't know if he is going to restructure his contract or not but he is not being very helpful at this point. And why play him the last game that is meaningless? Makes no sense to me
vaxxed Mayfield and many others missed a game too. didnt serve them “greater” by having it.
in this case what Kirk said is accurate. he woudlve missed game regardless snce he had those life threatening “mild symptoms!”
regardless of coach, kirk is our best option next year. i just hope a more team friendly deal happens.
Zimmer's intention to play Cousins against the Bears is beyond stupid. This a meaningless game and to risk injury to Kirk behind an offense line with potentially 3 starters out for Covid has zero positive outcome except to pad stats for Kirk.

I wish there was someone in this organization thinking in the longterm best interests of the team, rather than on beating a Bears team with nothing on the line (ironically, since with the playoffs on the line a few years ago we rolled over to the same team).
Viking funeral the day after the season for all of these guys, please.

It is NOT accurate, NFL stats have showed that players who were vaccinated have not gotten Covid are 7x less likely to get Covid, it is a FACT that it in increases your chances greatly of not getting it. It is embarrassing to say otherwise and it is incredibly disappointing for a guy who is suppose to be a team leader to just shed any kind of responsibility. This is an example of why they will never win with him, ego is too big to see outside of himself.

When Akeem Hicks camps out in the offense's backfield, it won't matter who the starting quarterback is...
