Really memorable part of my youth. Watching him and Pat. Loved his attitude about football. One of a kind, RIP JM.

His voice was the soundtrack of the NFL for what, two decades? If you heard Madden's voice, you knew it was a big game, or at least should've been. And if it wasn't he found a way to entertain you. 

Was just looking at his background. Spent part of ONE season on the Eagles practice squad, then moved on to coaching. Fascinating how he turned THAT into a $200M net worth by the time he died. 

I think I know who will be on the next cover of Madden.
