Bradbury handled himself well here
The honesty and self-awareness Garrett Bradbury showed in his press conference today is something you don't see very often. The #Vikings center and former first-round pick talked about getting benched, evaluating why it happened, and how he's dealt with it.

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
Yeah, we're all rooting for him to get better too. He's going to be facing tough matchups the rest of the season, so hopefully the time away truly does make him better.

So true.

Yep....he's playing better, but the real test comes in three of the next four games against his nemesis: THE FATTY. Hicks, Clark and Hicks. So we'll see how he holds up. I would say that if he does well, he might just get that 5th year.
Didn't even mention the best defensive player in NFL history, Aaron Donald. Bradbury will get his ass kicked, but because of his speed and quickness, maybe less so than other centers.
Good for him. Glad he took the opportunity to self scout and evaluate his play. Speaks to his character and to openly admit it. Also shows the mental grind these players are in during the season. A breather for him was the chance he needed.
That's nice, but I don't feel that way when I watch him get pushed back into the backfield every other play. Take your millions and move on to another team where you can be a bust for them.

I was going to write the same thing earlier, playing timid or scared, and playing not to get beat/lose, sounds like Zimmers influence once again.

Lol, you guys give Zimmer so much credit, thinking he is individually coaching each and every player. Especially offensive linemen.

you are probably right, he runs the team, but I am sure the coaches below him, and the players below them arent influenced at all by how he believes and acts.
Hopefully the time on the sidelines gave him a wakeup call. He’s been much better since getting benched

How he handles himself on the field is all I care about. So far, not so good.
Akiem Hicks handled him. That's all the handling I saw.
