NFL.com: 'Vikings are dangerous'
The Vikings are the most predictable and -- maybe -- most dangerous team in the NFC. Kirk Cousins threw three more touchdown passes, including two to the unstoppable Justin Jefferson, in a 34-31 win over the Packers that served as notice to the rest of the league: When the Vikings are humming like they are right now, they can beat anyone. It came down to a final-second field goal by Greg Joseph, because, well, that's the only way the team seems to know how to play. It appears to be taking a toll on their head coach: "Sundays are not fun," said the lovably cantankerous Mike Zimmer. "You know how they say Sunday is fun day? It's not ... at all."
Hey Zim, how about you coach up your D to stop other teams when we're up by 10 or more? That might make your Sunday's more fun, mine too. B)

Better get used to 31/34 type games the rest of the way and thank god for the offense being as potent as it is in spite of that OL.
The defense was a tale of two halves. We were getting a consistent pass rush with pressure up the middle from Lynch and off the edge from Richardson. That disappeared in the second half and we let Rodgers get comfortable to sit back in the pocket and pick our secondary apart. We are also a terrible blitzing team under Zimmer so when we started to dial some up in the second half, it left our below average secondary even more exposed to big plays.

Said he should have stayed with what was working. I think your pointing out the changes he should not have made (that Zim was referring to) - good analysis TBro

I don't know why you would change what's working. I think you'd predict how they would plan on countering what you were doing, and then be ready to switch if their counter is effective, but as long as its working keep at it.

Zimmer really is exacerbating at times when he outthinks himself and just ends up making things worse.

Not sure I agree they're humming. Not sure I agree they couldn't have beaten anyone at any point this season. The Vikings have been dangerous all year.

They are similar to a Denny Green team; very good on offense, not so good on defense and special teams.
At least they are fun to watch again!
