Horrible tragedy in Waukesha Wi, SUV drives through parade

Sad.  So much hate in this world.

The deceased are ages 52 to 81, 4 women and 1 man. There are 6 children in critical condition. 

He plowed into a dance troupe from Milwaukee called the Dancing Grannies and a group of young children dancers. It is beyond horrific.

Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson said Monday that Darrell Brooks Jr., 39, was fleeing a domestic disturbance with a report of a knife when he rammed into the parade. Brooks was not being chased, Thompson said. He will be charged with five counts of intentional homicide, Thompson added.
The dead were four women and a man ages 52 to 81. Thompson said 48 people were injured in the crash, which was captured on the city's livestream as the SUV struck a high school band, children's dance group and the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies.

Shortly after the release of the suspect’s name, his criminal history become a hot topic of discussion. Per other reports, it was District Attorney John Chisholm’s office (in Milwaulkee) that let Brooks walk free just two days prior on a $1,000 bond. That came after Brooks had been charged with multiple felonies over a domestic dispute that included him running over his girlfriend. She sustained multiple injuries, per police reports.

It's such a scary and horrible thing. I saw a video of a sweet little girl dancing and then his vehicle speeds by. It's just disgusting.

The system miserably failed here. I surely hope that bail reform is first and foremost on the minds of Wisconsin government and the nation as a whole. There is absolutely no way this man should’ve been out on bail. Just ask his ex-gf, one of his previous run over victims.
